The working day around King's Cross rarely ends at five. Meetings run long, trains are missed, and you still want a proper dinner rather than another station sandwich. Fiena is our family-run Italian cafe, bar and restaurant on Judd Street — open until 22:00 Monday to Saturday and 21:00 on Sundays — and after-work tables are part of our rhythm. Come from the offices, from Euston, or straight off the Tube.
One Tripadvisor guest put the practical point well: they liked that cuz they close late I can hangout with friends here without pressure!!
(Getaway23254056160, Tripadvisor review). You can leave the office at half six, walk over, and still have time for antipasti, pasta and a digestivo without watching the clock. Mark's Tripadvisor review was titled for a concert night and summed up the meal as Fantastic food. Great value. Great service.
(Mark H., Tripadvisor review) — the same timing works after a late desk day.
Nasipa described the service style that suits tired evenings: The service was warm and helpful without being intrusive.
(Nasipa E., Google review). Nick came after a business day and noticed both owner and kitchen: The owner is serving with a big smile. The chef checked how the food was.
(Nick v. H., Google review). Maria called the room spacious, music not too loud, decor is not over the top
with the friendliest of staff
(Maria M., Google review) — the opposite of a shouty after-work bar.
Start light with garlic bread, arancini, bruschetta or burrata if you are sharing, then move to the pasta and pizza list. Linguine Fiena, carbonara, seafood linguine, penne arrabiata, Margherita or Diavola — or saltimbocca, lamb cutlets or sea bass if you want something from the grill. Derek, on Tripadvisor, called his carbonara one of the best I’ve tasted!
(Derek P., Tripadvisor review). See the full main menu. Gluten-free penne and a gluten-free pizza base are available.
“Best aperol spritz and spaghetti bolognaise I've had in a while!”
Katelyn S., Google review, January 2026
James kept a weeknight simple: I had pasta fiena and the cheesecake. Both very good.
(James S., Google review). Ayub's highlight was dessert: the tiramisu was a highlight!
(Ayub, Google review). Both sit well after a long day. Robin's pasta verdict is the one we still hear at the pass: The Linguini Fiena was honestly one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had.
(Robin W., Google review).
From the drinks list: Negroni, espresso martini, Hugo or Aperol spritz, a glass of Nero d'Avola or Gavi, Draft Moretti or Peroni. Sit at the green marble bar if the dining room is full, or outside when the evening is mild. John compared the cooking favourably after a trip to Naples: I was in Napoli last week and the food wasn't far off from the real deal.
(John M., Google review). Kiley's outdoor tip still works after six: I'd also recommend sitting outside and enjoying a cocktail here.
(Kiley R., Google review).
arrived quickwhen he needed it (Neil C., Google review).
Walk five minutes from the offices around King's Cross or Euston and sit down to Italian food that does not feel like a compromise. Martin left saying Thank you all for making our stay in London one we will remember.
(Martin B.-L., Google review) — we will aim for the same on an ordinary Wednesday. Book your table, glance at the menu, and we will see you at 4 Medway Court, Judd Street, London WC1H 9QX.
Breakfast from 8am, the full Italian menu from midday. Walk-ins are always welcome whenever we have space.
